These are bars that help prevent broken wounds sustained from falls whenever one leans over a window. It is installed in front of the window either horizontally or vertically. When buying one of these window guards, it is best to look for one with a release mechanism so that the bars can be fully opened immediately in case an emergency occurs, like fire or flood. Do not feel too confident and do not start telling yourself that you are already safe inside your home. You should always remember that even the smallest and simplest of household objects can pose a threat to the welfare of your family, so be alert and check your windows to ensure an undisturbed lifestyle.
